On 28 October 2025, EdgeVitals presented its technology at “Qui veut être mon soignant ?”, a healthcare innovation event organised by H4 – Hands-on Human Health Hub in Lausanne.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, startups and innovators to evaluate new solutions designed to improve clinical practice and patient care.

Unlike traditional startup pitch competitions, the jury consisted of healthcare professionals working directly in the field, who assessed each solution based on its practical value for care delivery.

EdgeVitals presented its remote vital signs monitoring (rVSM) technology, which measures heart rate, breathing rate and oxygen saturation using a standard camera and AI algorithms.

The technology enables contactless measurement of vital signs through smartphones, tablets or computers, supporting telemedicine, remote monitoring and digital health applications.

Innovation Evaluated by Healthcare Professionals

The event was designed to connect innovators with the realities of clinical practice.

Organised by the H4 innovation hub, the initiative aimed to create direct dialogue between entrepreneurs and the professionals who work daily in healthcare environments.

Startups presented their solutions to a panel of caregivers who evaluated how well each technology addressed real needs in healthcare.

This approach provides valuable feedback for early stage health technology companies and helps accelerate solutions which bring practical value to the healthcare system.

Recognition for Contactless Vital Signs Monitoring

During the event, EdgeVitals received an award from the jury, recognising the potential of its technology to simplify patient monitoring and improve access to vital signs measurement.

Contactless monitoring technologies are gaining increasing attention as healthcare systems look for solutions which reduce friction in clinical workflows and support remote care.

EdgeVitals continues to develop its rVSM platform for use across hospitals, telemedicine platforms and digital health services.

Strengthening the Swiss Health Innovation Ecosystem

Events such as “Qui veut être mon soignant ?” play an important role in strengthening collaboration between startups, clinicians and research institutions in Switzerland.

By connecting innovation with real clinical needs, initiatives like this help accelerate the development of solutions designed to improve healthcare delivery.

EdgeVitals thanks the H4 team and the participating healthcare professionals for the opportunity to present and receive valuable feedback on its technology.
